carrot soup


  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 chopped ginger pod
  • ½ coarsely chopped onion
  • 3 cups of chicken base
  • 6 large carrots, cut into 1-inch rings
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut 1 square inch
  • 2/3 cup 15% cooking cream
  • 1 1/2 liters of water
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Put the water in a saucepan and add the carrots with the chicken base.
  2. Bring to the boil and boil for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Add the potatoes, garlic, ginger, and onion, and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the 15% cream and pass through the mixer until the cream is smooth.
  6. Season and serve.
