Ingredients:
- 3 c. tablespoon olive oil
- 2 c. tablespoon butter
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 200 grams of chicken
- 2 stalks of finely chopped celery
- 1 medium carrot, finely cut into 2 ’’ lengths
- 200 grams of sliced mushrooms
- 1 seeded green pepper cut into strips
- 1 seeded red pepper cut into strips
- 1 seeded yellow pepper cut into strips
- 1/3 soy sauce
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Steps:
- In a saucepan, bring the salted water to a boil
- Mix rice with butter, remove from heat and cover
- In a frying pan brown the onion in olive oil and then brown the rest of the vegetables
- Add cooked rice and chicken
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, soy sauce and brown sugar well.
- Mix with rice, chicken and vegetables
