Delicious sauce that will accompany your spaghetti and other pasta even up to your lasagna. Nourishing meal simply accompanied with bread. Ideal for the lunch box to heat in the school microwave. A real treat.

Ingredients:

  • 3 c. tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 600 grams of semi-lean ground beef
  • 3 whole canes of tomatoes
  • 3 canes of tomato paste
  • 6 stalks of finely chopped celery
  • 3 medium carrots, finely chopped
  • 200 grams of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 finely cut seeded green pepper
  • 1 finely cut seeded red pepper
  • 1 finely cut seeded yellow pepper
  • 2 c. of oregano
  • 2 c. 1 tsp herbs
  • 2 c. 1 tsp crushed peppers
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 sachet in a bouquet of marinating spices
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps :

  1. At the bottom of a large saucepan, soften the onion with the garlic in the olive oil
  2. Add the ground beef and cook fully
  3. Add the other ingredients and bring to a boil before simmering over low heat 45 minutes
  4. Serve with pasta
